Amanda Smith - Director
Introducing Amanda Smith, the director of Valour Health Partners. Amanda lives on the beautiful Sunshine Coast with her human and fur family. She is a qualified Registered Nurse with postgraduate qualifications and experience in Mental Health, Trauma, and Clinical Supervision, Education, and Training. She is a proud and vocal advocate of comprehensive health care with practical experience in general nursing having worked in cardiac, medical, neurophysiology, mental health, emergency, and the aged care sector. Amanda has also worked as a clinical facilitator and educator since 2011 teaching in tertiary institutions in Queensland helping to advance the health care professionals of the future.
Drawing from extensive experience that spans all facets of mental health nursing from acute triage and assessment, emergency and exceptional service co-response teams, high dependency, and case management Amanda has a deep connection to the community and those who serve their community. Amanda's life mission is to improve quality outcomes for those impacted by trauma, particularly for our service men and women, first responders, and wider healthcare communities.
Amanda is passionate about consumers receiving quality service from first contact through their entire health journey and is adamant that the mission and values, RESPECT, INTEGRITY, COMMITMENT, and EXCELLENCE are the foundation of every aspect of the client journey with Valour Health Partners.
